In June, traditionally, the Faculty of Economics and Management analyzes the results of scientific and educational activities in the current academic year.
The Department of Accounting and Taxation summed up the work efficiency of the problem-solving groups considering the results of their activities in the 2021–2022 academic year. Taking into account the need for security in the conditions of martial law, the meeting with the participants of the problem-solving group called “Organization of tax accounting in terms of interaction with the Regulations (standards) of accounting” was held in an online format. The purpose of the problem-solving group activity at the department is to strengthen the acquisition of competencies in the field of accounting and taxation, the introduction of elements of scientific research into the educational process for students of the first (bachelor's) and second (master's) levels, and the acquisition of communication skills in the field of tax consulting.
The scientific supervisors of the problem group, Doctor of Economics, Professor Iryna Sadovska, and Candidate of Economics, Associate Professor Anna Safarova, emphasized excellent indicators of the group's work in the current academic year. The report was approved at the Academic Council of the Faculty of Economics and Management. Thus, in the reporting period, the participants of the problem-solving group showed high publication activity, characterized not only by the preparation of reports and participation in international scientific-practical conferences of young scientists and students but also by a significant number of publications in specialized Ukrainian scientific journals of “B” category and foreign peer-reviewed publications.
Andriana Ploskina, a student of the OA-41 group and a member of the problem-solving group of the Department of Accounting and Taxation, took part in the “Zavtra.ua” scholarship program, having submitted her research paper “Methodical principles of the non-financial reporting to ensure the goals of sustainable development”. She was successful in the first round of the competition and passed to the second one. Another student, Zoriana Havriliuk, with her research paper “Accounting and analytical support of enterprise innovative activity” participated in the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific works held by NU “Chernihiv Polytechnic”.
Such an active scientific position of the faculty authorities, members of the problem-solving group, and teachers of the Department of Accounting and Taxation could not go unnoticed and was properly evaluated at the relevant levels. Therefore, I am pleased to announce the recognition of the achievements of the students, members of the problem-solving group who were awarded:
