Chairman of the Volyn Regional Council Hryhoriy Nedopad in his speech said, “Under the limited industrial capacity, tourism should become a perspective direction of the regional development. Volyn has all the prerequisites for this: infrastructure, natural resources, historical, architectural and cultural content. At the same time, recreation is mostly seasonal, and the industry itself is far from being considered cost-effective. Some communities have their own projects for the development of tourism, crafts, and recreation. But all this requires consistency and a clear strategy."
