The working meeting of the East European University Network (EEUN), which took place on January, 16th in the EENU library, resulted in a number of decisions made by the participants — rectors, vice-rectors and academics of the foreign and domestic universities. Among the adopted decisions were:
- to appoint official network coordinators from participating universities, to submit valid contact information;
- to submit information about the university (in particular, faculties, departments, research schools, etc.) on a EEUN web page;
- to submit information about conferences scheduled for 2015;
- to consider the joint participation in the Jean Monnet programme;
- to suggest topics and candidates for the editorial board of joint scientific journal by the time of the next meeting;
- to foster cooperation in the “Double diploma” programme;
- to participate in the Erasmus+ programme;
- to study the issue of joint implementing programmes of postgraduate education, business education projects and participation in projects of cooperation with local and regional authorities;
- to organize a joint summer school of European integration;
- to study the issue of organizing the joint book competition;
- to establish a viable collaboration between the libraries of the Network participants (sharing books, scientific journals, etc.) and to study the issue of integrating information repositories.
The next meeting of the East European University Network is to be held in Drohobych on February, 12th, 2015.
