Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University will continue cooperation with the specialized structural division of Lutsk City Council, Department of Education. The cooperation agreement was signed on January 16. Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University Anatoly Tsos, Vice-Rectors Yurii Hromyk and Nataliia Blahovirna, deans, educational programmes guarantors, and representatives of teaching staff attended the event. Department of Education was represented by its Head, Vitalii Bondar.

At the beginning of the venue, Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Anatolii Tsos, took the floor. “We have a great opportunity to talk and discuss cooperation. I think that the signing of the agreement will improve our work and we will have the opportunity to reach a new, higher level of cooperation,” he said, adding that Department of Education of Lutsk City Council is one of the largest stakeholders of the University.

Department Director Vitalii Bondar said that he had studied at Lesya Ukrainka University and was glad to see his teachers in the hall. He noted that Lutsk territorial community needs a high-quality teaching staff and scientific and methodological support provided by the higher education institution.

Vice-Rector for Academic Work and Recruitment Yurii Hromyk noted that cooperation with Education Department of Lutsk City Council’s is important for the University: “We need this cooperation, in particular feedback from the department. One of the important aspects of cooperation is pedagogical practice. It is very good that you provide assistance and understanding of this future teacher training component.”

The parties will cooperate in the implementation of joint scientific and research works, exchange of experience (conducting mutual internships, seminars, consultations and trainings), organisation of advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers, conducting internships for students, joint organisation of international and all-Ukrainian scientific events, and more.
