On April 11, Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University met the students of the Faculty of Medicine, who were undergoing a month-long internship at the Jan Dlugosz University in Częstochowa (Republic of Poland).
Four students were able to seize another opportunity for academic mobility: two each from specialties 222 Medicine and 227 Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy. “It was very interesting to compare education is carried out in our country and in Poland. We got a good experience,” Vira Antropova said during the meeting with Rector.
Students noted that Polish students and lecturers facilitated and helped them adapt in everything. The future doctors also talked about the experience of Polish universities in co-teaching lecturers from different higher education institutions; discussed other opportunities for academic mobility and internships abroad.
Student Yaroslav Andriichuk said that Professor of the Department of Histology of Jan Dlugosz University handed over a set of preparations for research to the Department of Histology of our institution as a symbol of cooperation between the departments.
Rector Anatolii Tsos remarked that Ukrainian education is competitive at the European level. According to him, the University will continue to actively implement the “Double Diploma” programme, academic mobility and international projects.
