A master class on painting Easter eggs was held for the students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University forced to leave their homes due to the full-scale russian invasion.

The event took place in the premises of Lutsk Palace of Student Youth as part of the traditional “Easter Workshop” artistic project. The administration of the University, which provided all the necessary materials, facilitated the event for its students.

The craftswoman and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Culture and Arts Galina Vakhramieieva and her assistants shared with students the secrets of pysankarstwo and making Easter paraphernalia.

Thus, the participants of the master class learned how to paint an Easter egg with the “Octagonal Star” pattern most often found in Volyn Easter egg painting and ornamentation.
