On April 12, at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University at the Faculty of Philology and Journalism, a conversation was held with Oleksandr Zelinskyi, a photographer and journalist of Volyn News.

At the beginning of the event, the speaker talked about typical mistakes in photography: blurred horizon, wrong perspective, overexposed photos. He also showed how to properly set up the camera for normal shooting and shooting in motion. During a casual conversation, Oleksandr told his story about how, as a philology student, he spent his time in journalism, learned photography; revealed the secrets of mastering this business on your own. Oleksandr talked about the advantages of being able to take pictures. “When there was nothing to write about, you would take a camera, go to the park, make a photo report and add a few words about Lutsk. After that, it was shared on Facebook. People repost – you have views. If you learn photography well, create your portfolio on social networks and there is a chance that people will be interested in it and you will get a bonus to your salary,” the speaker shared his views.

The journalist also said that if you want to learn, go to the park, take a camera and a friend, the one to tell you how to set the angle to get a good photo.
