On October 21, Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University held a presentation-training session “Academic integrity: we understand, we know, we adhere” dedicated to the International Day of Academic Integrity.

The event is aimed at popularising academic integrity and designed for the students of the first and second years, as well as all those wanting to learn more about the basic principles of academic integrity. The moderator was the Head of the Scientific Society of Undergraduate and Graduate Students of the University Victoria Horbach.

The participants of the presentation got acquainted with the concept of academic integrity, the regulatory environment, the Code of Academic Integrity of the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, the tasks, principles, norms, types and consequences for violating academic integrity and responsibility for it. An express test of acquired knowledge was also conducted for the students.

The final stage of the training presentation was the creative task of designing collective projects “What does “academic integrity” mean to me”.
