Students of the Faculty of International Relations have been studying the disciplines "Practical Course on General Theory of Policy " and "Political Management and Political Marketing in Public Administration" at the Department of Administrative and Constitutional Law of The Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding since the beginning of the second semester of 2021–2022.
Despite the military actions and a tense situation in Mykolaiv, Nataliia Nikolaienko, Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor, Head of the Educational and Scientific Analytical Center for the Study of Hybrid Threats to National Security in Southern Ukraine, continues to communicate with our students. During lectures they discuss military operations and daily situation reports. Nataliia Nikolaienko uses lectures to encourage students and university lecturers in Mykolaiv.
Nataliia Nikolaienko said, "The war has radically changed our plans, including educational ones, but students of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and The Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding have expressed a desire to study. As a teacher, I can't refuse my students, therefore, if possible, in the intervals between air raid alerts and information work, I conduct lectures and seminar classes. This is my duty as a teacher and as a citizen. Students assure me that studying makes it is easier for them to endure hostilities, stay calm and keep the faith.”
The introduction of duo courses was preceded by a long-term work between the dean’s offices of the universities and preparations for the signing of a cooperation agreement on February 25, 2022 – Lesya Ukrainka’s birthday – between Rector of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, Professor Anatolii Tsos and Rector of The Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding, Professor Yevhen Trushliak. But the war interrupted. The signing of a cooperation agreement was postponed, but cooperation continues even in the face of difficult circumstances. We will definitely sign it in the nearest possible time!
