I began my career as a specialist after graduating from Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, where I studied at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Practical Psychology, later graduated from the Department of Military Training at Ivan Chernyakhovsky National Defence University of Ukraine with a degree in “Social Psychology” and received the military rank of “junior lieutenant” to begin my military career in the city of Volodymyr.
With the acquisition of certain experience and desire to continue studying, I decided to enter the Master’s program at the Faculty of Psychology of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University. While studying at the University, I met incredible lecturers, professionals in their field, who combined endless love for students and invested in us the treasure of the field of psychology, which is more important than ever. During my Master’s studies at the department of practical psychology and psychodiagnostics, I improved every day, delved into art therapy, conducted trainings, master classes, individual consultations under the guidance of teachers at the department based Psychological Consulting Centre, participated in international conferences, scientific and practical seminars, which made it possible to improve my professional skills. I am a frequent participant in department events, as well as a speaker at sectional meetings of conferences and seminars.
For me personally, the University has become a part of my life, because thanks to the faculty team represented by Tamara Duchyminska, Liudmila Magdysyuk and Antonii Melnyk I managed to show good results at the annual Odesa competition of a psychologist of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. With the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation on the territory of Ukraine, I am with my personnel at the front, being able to provide psychological assistance to servicempersons who need it. I am pleased that at any minute I can call or write to my mentors and lecturers, get advice and recommendations.
Many thanks to you, the lecturers, for your work, because the war changed everyone, and nobody but us, practical psychologists, should restore the mental health of everyone who suffered pain from the combat experience.
