Today Yuliana Trofimchuk, a graduate of the educational and professional programme "Practical Psychology (Psychological Counselling and Psychotherapy)" of 2021, tells about her career path, teachers and education.
The lady has been working as a nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit of the Volyn Regional Territorial Medical Association for the Protection of Motherhood and Childhood since 2016. The first educational institution where Yuliana studied was Kivertsy Medical College, and in 2016 she continued her studies at Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University at the Faculty of Psychology and Sociology (correspondence form of education). Studying for three years for the Bachelor's degree, she decided to continue her Master's studies at the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
"I have gained an incredible bulk of knowledge I will not only practically use but also in my everyday life. I met a lot of interesting and wise people who shared their knowledge and skills with me. Our excursions to the Volyn Regional Narcological Dispensary were held with incredible interest. Together with our classmates, we conducted trainings for the students of the NUFT College and Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, invested a lot of art and creativity into our seminars, acted as lecturers during assistant practice, and also had an opportunity to share the knowledge of the art therapy branches in psychology in the morning news programme of the "Avers" channel, – Yuliana Trofimchuk says recalling her student years. – Writing articles and abstracts under the guidance of Lyudmyla Magdysiuk gave a thirst for knowledge, in-depth study of psychological sciences, and further research. A great and valuable contribution to my practical activity was the psycho-counseling sessions held under the supervision of Myroslava Mushkevych on the basis of the Psychological Counselling Centre of the Department of Practical Psychology and Psychodiagnostics.
The graduate speaks warmly about her educational mentors: “They always supported us and guided us towards the right path. A bow down and a big thank you to the faculty for their ability and sincere desire to teach! ”
