Before signing the agreement Anatolii Tsios mentioned that dual education allows to tackle the main educational challenge of inefficient combination of theory and practice.
He said, “The implementation of this project will enable the students to get acquainted with the employer, and the employer will be able to select the best students in order to recruit them in the institution afterwards. This is what makes this cooperation desirable for both parties”.
The Vice Rector for Educational Work and Recruitment, Yurii Hromyk, highlighted the fact that EENU has long been implementing dual education, which is to be obviously exercised by other universities as well, for it being a promising trend in education. His colleague, the Vice Rector for Educational Work and Communications, Nataliia Blahovirna, added, “It is admirable that the Faculty of History, Political Science and Homeland Security makes much effort to the implementation of dual education, because it is a good prospect”.
The contract was signed afterwards.
Viktor Baiuk also spoke to the students. He said, “Nowadays I experience much professional and personal pleasure, because I have been working since I was a 3rd-year student myself, but I had to adjust my timetable since there was no such thing as dual education. I am glad that you have the opportunity to do what you like while studying”.
Furthermore, he offered to involve students not only in archeological researches but also in conducting guided tours in Lutsk as well.
The EENU Rector appreciated the offer, assuring that cooperation with Lutsk State Historical and Cultural Reserve must continue. He also mentioned about signing the agreement on dual education with the next group of students in September.
Anatolii Tsios summarized: “First of all, the university has to provide students with good education, and dual education is a progressive form of it. Thanks to our personnel, we have already signed the agreement with the InternetDevels IT company. Having also signed the agreement with the reserve, we hope that our students will obtain all the necessary knowledge”.
After signing the agreement, the students escorted the Rector and everybody present to their workplace, the Chartoryiskyh Tower dungeon and the monastery with the newly discovered rooms.
A student-archaeologist, Zakhar Lymar, shared his positive emotions: “It is excavation that the school leavers enter this faculty for. It is exciting to find something antique and hold it in the hands, realizing that the thing is 200 or 300 years old.
