The Rector of EENU, Anatolii Tsios, and the Principal of Volodymyr Volynskyi Ahatanhel Krymskyi Vocational College, Mykola Saveliev, agreed to cooperate.
The cooperation treaty was signed on July, 9 in Volodymyr Volynskyi.
In the beginning of the meeting, the EENU delegation, headed by Anatolii Tsios, discussed all the possible options for mutual beneficial partnership with the College representatives. Beside the Rector, there were 4 more representatives from Lesya Ukrainka University; namely, the Vice Rector for Education and Recruitment Yurii Hromyk; the Vice Rector for Educational Work and Communication Nataliia Blahovirna; the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Culture Vitalii Okhmaniuk; and the Head of the Department of Fine Arts and Design Dmytro Avramenko.
The cooperation will be realized in the following directions:
- organization, conduction and participation in joint scientific and practical conferences, workshops, exhibitions, seminars, concerts and other events;
- organization of joint methodological seminars for development and approval of educational programs and syllabus plans;
- exchange of scholars, lecturers and experts for implementation of joint projects and programs, and academic internships for lecturers, as well as counseling for theses;
- teaching of courses;
- experience exchange in the implementation of IT in training and student exchange for completing courses;
- acquaintance with the functioning of youth organizations of both institutions;
- preparation of joint project applications for obtaining financial support from national and international funds;
- exchange of art exhibitions and student amateur performances;
- further training of College graduates in EENU.
As Anatolii Tsios said to Mykola Saveliev, “I am extremely grateful that you managed to find the time to meet, since the lack of communication is a big issue of today. It is an important task for us, because our students and the quality of our education are priorities for us, whereas your College has always been famous for its graduates”.
Mykola Saveliev agreed that such cooperation is necessary. “A bond between the two institutions exists indeed. There are plenty of things that we share. Last year we celebrated our 80th anniversary, and this year you are celebrating yours. Both our establishments are to celebrate the 150th birthday anniversaries of our patrons; many other things are quite similar, too. That is why this cooperation is of great necessity”, he said.
Having discussed the options for cooperation, everybody enjoyed a College tour led by Mykola Saveliev.
To close the meeting, the parties signed the treaty.
