General information about the lecturer
M. Kucherepa was born in 1953 in Lutsk. He graduated from Lutsk secondary school №3 in 1970. He studied at the Faculty of History of Ivan Franko Lviv State University in 1971–1976 (specialty – historian, teacher of history and social sciences). He worked as a teacher and union worker, studied at the graduate school of Lviv University.
Practical activity
M. Kucherepa was an assistant in 1984–1991, in 1991–1993 – a senior lecturer at Lesya Ukrainka Lutsk State Pedagogical Institute. Since 1993 – Associate Professor, and since 2003 – Professor. In 2005-2007 – Vice-Rector for International Relations of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn State University. In 2009–2020 – a professor at the Department of Modern and Contemporary History of Ukraine, and from 2020 – a professor at the Department of History of Ukraine and Archeology. Internship at the Institute of History of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw), the Institute of Political Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences (Warsaw), as well as - Kyiv, Lviv National Universities, National University «Ostroh Academy». Member of the Specialized Academic Council at the Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University.
