For almost half a year, a student of the Faculty of International Relations of Lesya Ukrainka Volun National University, Victoria Tarannik, has been simultaneously studying in Ukraine and the David Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
“The russian-Ukrainian war forced us to evaluate our life differently and made adjustments to the educational process. Though at the same time, each of us is looking for new opportunities and ways. By lucky chance, I had to study in Israel,” the girl begins her story. Victoria also claims that in an Israeli institution of higher education, every corner is created for a student and she speaks with sincere warmth and gratitude about the teachers of the David Ben-Gurion University always helping and advising on any issue.
“The important and useful skills in the English-speaking group of the International Relations Department at the Faculty of International Relations, studying English with the lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation were a real asset for me. Since I studied all subjects there in English, I appreciated the importance of learning foreign languages. Taking up this opportunity, I want to express my gratitude to Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, in particular, to the Faculty of International Relations, for the knowledge I received and the opportunity to study simultaneously in Ukraine and Israel, the girl concludes, I gained invaluable experience I will later implement here in Ukraine, because I appreciate everything we have in our homeland! I believe in our victory!”
