Building D was designed by architect Vasyl Malovitsa in the 1970s. Originally it was a building of political education, in 1991 it was transferred to the university as an educational building.
Currently, there is a Faculty of History, Political Science and National Security, museums of archeology, ethnography of Volyn and Polissya, as well as a specialized library.
The faculty is located in a separate building, which has: 16 classrooms; 2 computer rooms equipped with modern computers; Museum of Ethnography of Volyn and Polissya; Museum of Archeology; Analytical center; Reading Room; conference hall and creative “Space for Ideas”. Training sessions are accompanied by multimedia complexes. The faculty has Wi-Fi Internet access.
Teaching staff of the faculty consists of 55 full-time research and teaching workers. 53 out of them have academic degrees and academic titles (quality indicator of teaching staff - 97%). The organization of scientific and educational-methodical work of the faculty is provided by 20 doctors of sciences. The educational process is provided by professors known not only in Ukraine but also abroad. 750 students obtain their qualifications in the faculty, 645 of them are full-time students and 105 are part-time students.
