The department organizes annual scientific conferences, seminars, summer schools.
The department publishes a professional scientific publication «Volyn Philological: text and context».
The department prepares postgraduate and doctoral students in the specialties 10.01.06 − Theory of Literature and 10.01.05 − Comparative Literary Studies. 17 candidate and 6 doctoral dissertations were defended from 2001 to 2020.
