The student football team of Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University became the winner of the fourth league of the 15^th anniversary season of Volyn regular futsal championship.

To celebrate the victory, Lesya’s football players guided by Dean of the Faculty of Physical Culture, Sports and Health Vasyl Pantik, coaches Roman Ivanytskyi and Ihor Bychuk had a meeting with Rector Anatolii Tsos.

Anatolii Vasyliovych talked to the football players and their mentors, thanked the young athletes for their effort and high results and wished them to succeed in future competitions. In turn, the football players and coaches expressed gratitude to the officials for their support and promotion of the development of sports at the University. Football players also presented Rector with a medal.

Anatolii Tsios and Vasyl Pantik also spoke with Head of Volyn Biathlon Federation Mykola Polishchuk and Mykhailo Khmil, a student of the University and bronze medalist of Biathlon Junior World Championship. Among other things, they discussed cooperation prospects between Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University and Volyn Biathlon Federation as well as further development of this sport on the institution’s basis.
